Welcome to the Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary and Buckfast Butterfly Farm.
A small, friendly, family run place to visit in South Devon, ideal for a family visit whatever the weather.

Opening Times & Admission
WE ARE CLOSED ON FRIDAY OCTOBER 23RD DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER.
We are open every day from 10.00am until 5pm until November 1st.
From November 1st we will open from 11am to 3pm daily.
The butterfly house will close for the season on November 8th. So from November 8th onwards it will be otters only daily from 11am to 3pm
The best times to see and enjoy the otters are the feeding times at 11.30am and 2.00pm and 4.00pm

Feeding time!
This is the best time to come and meet our otters, our keeper will give a talk and tell you all about our resident otters and why they are with us.

Come and see our amazing otters underwater agility.
Have you met Izzard?
He is our resident iguana
We rescued and re-homed Izzard, he is about 11 years old now and loves showers to cool down and loves a good neck scratch from our keepers.
