Welcome to the Dartmoor Otter Sanctuary and Buckfast Butterfly Farm.
A small, friendly, family run place to visit in South Devon, ideal for a family visit whatever the weather.

Opening Times & Admission
We are open daily from 10am to 3pm.
At this time of year, the best time to see the last of the seasons butterflies is in the morning.
Otter feeding times are 11.30am and 2.00pm. These are the best times to see and enjoy our amazing resident otters.
Tickets can be pre-purchased, or you are welcome to buy your tickets at our reception when you arrive.

This is the best time to come and meet our otters, our keeper will give a talk and tell you all about our resident otters and why they are with us.
Underwater Viewing area
Come and see our amazing otters underwater agility.
Have you met Izzard?
He is our resident iguana
We rescued and re-homed Izzard, he is about 11 years old now and loves showers to cool down and loves a good neck scratch from our keepers.
